We welcome, this week, Dr. J. Todd Billings, author if the book Union with Christ: Reframing Theology and Ministry for the Church. Dr. Billings is Associate Professor of Reformed Theology at Western Theological Seminary in Holland, MI. He is also an ordained minister in the Reformed Church in America, he received his M.Div. from Fuller Seminary and his Th.D. from Harvard University. He is also the author of Calvin, Participation, and the Gift: The Activity of Believers in Union With Christ and The Word of God for the People of God: An Entryway to the Theological Interpretation of Scripture. His website is at jtoddbillings.com.

This week, we welcome Dr. George M. Schwab, the author of Right In Their Own Eyes: The Gospel According to Judges. Dr. Schwab is Professor of Old Testament at Erskine Theological Seminary, and earned his B.S. from Drexel University, and his MDiv and PhD from Westminster Theological Seminary.  He is also a teaching elder and a trained biblical counselor. Dr. Schwab has written numerous articles in Old Testament studies and is a contributor to the Expositor’s Bible Commentary series.

This week, we welcome a former instructor of mine at New England Baptist Theological Institute, James R. Wilkes. He is author of the book which we will discuss; The Glory Walk: Living On Purpose for the Glory of God. James Wilkes is the former Pastor of New England Baptist Church in West Bridgewater, MA., where he served for many years.

We welcome to the program Jared Moore, author of The Harry Potter Bible Study: Enjoying God Through the Final Four Harry Potter Movies.  Jared Moore has served in ministry for 11 years and is currently the pastor of New Salem Baptist Church in Hustonville, KY. He has an M.A.R. in Biblical Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, an M.Div. in Christian Ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently completing a Th.M. in Systematic Theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

This week, we welcome Jared C. Wilson to the program, the author of Gospel Wakefulness. This week, we welcome back to the program Dr. Leland Ryken, author of The ESV and the English Bible Legacy. Dr. Ryken is a professor of English at Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL, and has served as a member of the faculty there for 40 years. He has also served as literary stylist for The Holy Bible, English Standard Version. Dr. Ryken is also the author of several books, including “Realms of Gold: The Classics in Christian Perspective”, “Translating Truth: The Case for Essentially Literal Bible Translation”, “The Word of God in English: Criteria for Excellence in Bible Translation”, “Wordly Saints – The Puritans as They Really Were”. Dr. Ryken also edited the “ESV Literary Study Bible”. Dr. Ryken received his PhD from the University of Oregon.

We welcome to the program Dr. Andreas Kostenberger, author of Excellence: The Character of God and the Pursuit of Scholarly Virtue, a book that discusses excellence in life and scholarly pursuits. Dr. Kostenberger is the founder of Biblical Foundations and the author, editor, and translator of over 20 books. He also serves as professor of New Testament and Biblical Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Kostenberger holds doctorates awarded by Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) and the Vienna University of Economics. His publications include the commentary on John in the Baker Exegetical Commentary Series, and God, Marriage, and Family. With Peter O’Brien, he wrote Salvation to the Ends of the Earth, and The Book Study Concordance with Raymond Bouchoc

This week, we welcome Dr. Kevin Vanhoozer to the program. We will discuss his book Remythologizing Theology: Divine Action, Passion, and Authorship. Dr. Vanhoozer is Blanchard Professor of Theology at Wheaton College. He received his B.A. from Westmont College, California, his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary, and Ph.D. from Cambridge University. Dr. Vanhoozer is also author or editor of sixteen books, including The Drama of Doctrine: A Canonical-Linguistic Approach to Christian Theology, named best theology book of 2006 by Christianity Today.

This week, we are pleased to have with us Tullian Tchividjian, author of the book Jesus Plus Nothing Equals Everything. Tullian is the Senior Pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and is a visiting professor of theology at Reformed Theological Seminary and a grandson of Billy and Ruth Graham. Tullian is a graduate of Columbia International University and Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. Tullian is the author of The Kingdom of God: A Primer on the Christian Life , Do I Know God? Finding Certainty in Life’s Most Important Relationship, Unfashionable: Making a Difference in the World by Being Different (Multnomah) and Surprised by Grace: God’s Relentless Pursuit of Rebels. Tullian is also a contributing editor to Leadership Journal. He speaks at conferences throughout the US and his sermons are broadcast daily on the radio program Godward Living.

Dr. Darryl G. Hart is our guest once again, and this time, we will discuss his book Between the Times: The Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Transition, 1945-1990. In it, he explores the history of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church between its founding and contemporary periods. Dr. Hart is Visiting Assistant Professor of History at Hillsdale College. He earned his B.A in film from Temple University, his M.A.R. in Theology/Church History from Westminster Theological Seminary, his M.T.S. in American Religious History from Harvard University, his M.A. in history from Johns Hopkins University, and his Ph.D. in American History from Johns Hopkins University.
